Peter Atencio has served as a writer, editor, director, and director of photography on numerous web series and cable television programs, including series for Vuguru Media, Turner Broadcasting, Warner Bros. Television, and PBS. In 2005 he co-wrote and directed the independent comedy feature film Night of the Dog, which won the audience award at the Palm Beach International Film Festival and the Gold Circle Vision Award at the Santa Barbara Film Festival, as well as several awards at other film festivals.

Peter is currently editing his second feature film, The Rig, a sci-fi thriller set on an oil rig in the gulf of Mexico. The film stars William Forsythe, Art Lafleur, Sarah Laine, and Marcus Paulk. He's also busy working on several new web series, and he recently completed a television pilot with Eva Mendes and Justin Bartha.
